If you haven't checked out Target lately, you are missing out on the great designers they keep partnering with! Anna Sui! Seriously! So, there are a LOT of adorable dresses, which maybe I'll feature later this week, but my favorite thing today is this totally retro cardigan. This is the type of thing that gives a ton of personality to your look. They show it over a dress here, which dresses it down a bit and makes it look like a cool casual--perfect for a weekend night out. OH La La!! Over the Knee Boots!

Usually, when I think of over the knee boots, I imagine them to be, well, not quite practical and a bit over-the-top. With it being the new "it" boot of the season (according to Piperlime), the style varies enough to find the perfect OTK boot. No fear ladies, you don't have to look like an overly vamped stripper, or a crazed biker chick to rock this style. These boots are so lovely and so reasonably priced! I would wear them with a little sweater dress or a tunic with leggings. If you like to rock the skinny jean, I think these would be a fabulous pairing, although, I'm not a big fan of the skinny jean myself because of that one big requirement--the skinny part! Ha! I like things that tend to be a big more universally flattering--like this boot!

Modern Vintage Scissor Locket

Of my readers, I'm not sure if this unique piece appeals to all of you. I do know of one particular creative and contemporary stylista who would LOVE this li'l locket, because she loves all things scissors! Now, this girl has ALWAYS been ahead of the curve fashion-wise, but I never expected her quirky interest in scissors to become particularly fashionable or trendy (although I always found it to be quite cutting edge with her particular style). Anyway, when I saw it, I knew I had to feature it. What do you think?

Sweetest Sweaterdress

If this isn't the cutest little flirty sweaterdress, then I just don't know what is. I love the ribbing and the flared-out skirt; it's such a nice silouette! I'm actually getting impatient for the cold weather because of dresses like this one--perfect with boots, day or night, weekend or work, party or casual. It all depends on the shoes :) This deep purple is one of my favorite colors this fall, I'm really drawn to it and I think it's flattering on everyone.
